BART to San Jose

Opening a new BART station is always historic. Cutting the ribbons for two new stations, extending BART for the first time into Santa Clara County — and safely doing so in the middle of a pandemic — makes June 12, 2020 an exceptionally historic day. Establishing a BART connection from the East Bay to Silicon Valley has long been a top regional priority for MTC. Now BART trains are running to Milpitas and San Jose on 10 miles of new track spearheaded and built by VTA. See photos
