2015 Warriors Celebration

BART crowds headed to Oakland, boarding trains from all locales, to witness the Golden State Warriors Celebration. BART ridership Friday hit 551,479. More than half a million people is astounding but it's the 2nd highest ridership in BART history. The Giants parade in 2012 beat it by about 15,000 riders. Lines were long, in part, because some riders had never been on the system before.
