Workshop: Parking Pricing and Policies for Greener Cities

Even if you never drop a quarter in a parking meter, there is no such thing as free parking. Parking spots, on the street, or in a garage, are precious commodities. Giving spots away for free, or pricing them too cheaply, can actually add to traffic congestion and pollute our air. City planners recently gathered at MTC to hear from parking experts on why parking should be critical to city planning, and why the public should care.
