MTC, BATA and SAFE are now located in San Francisco.
In May 2016, MTC along with its sister regional agencies, the Association of Bay Area Governments and the Bay Area Air Quality Management District, moved into a renovated former US Postal Service building at 375 Beale Street. The Bay Area Metro Center, as the facility has been named, includes ample public spaces such as an auditorium and board room, a resource center, a cafe and on-site bicycle parking that will serve the community.
