Plan Bay Area Implementation - Looking Back to Look Forward

Staff will provide a brief history of Plan Bay Area - the agency’s North Star - and report on the progress toward realizing the region’s vision to create a more affordable, connected, diverse, healthy and vibrant Bay Area for all.

Regional Network Management - Transforming the Rider Experience

To further illustrate the region’s progress toward its vision, staff will provide an update on efforts that are helping to improve the rider experience - a key strategy in Plan Bay Area 2050+ - focusing on changes to fares and payment and highlighting some early wins.

Transit-Oriented Communities (TOC) Policy and One Bay Area Grant (OBAG) Program Update to Commission

In the coming months, the Commission will have the opportunity to reaffirm its commitment to the plan’s vision. In Day 1, staff will present an overview of the One Bay Area Grant Program and the Transit Oriented Communities Policy - both important tools for delivering on Plan Bay Area.
