Day 2 of the Metropolitan Transportation Commission / Bay Area Toll Authority (BATA) /  
Bay Area Housing Finance Authority (BAHFA) / Bay Area Infrastructure Financing Authority  
(BAIFA) Workshop is scheduled to meet on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at  
9:30 a.m. at Silverado Resort, 1600 Atlas Peak Rd, Napa, CA 94558 (Royal Oak Room).  
Meeting attendees may opt to attend in person for public comment and observation. In-person  
attendees must adhere to posted public health protocols while in the building. A recording of

Agenda Item 1: 9:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Ensuring Transit Sustainability – “Survive and  
Thrive” (Theresa Romell and Melanie Choy)  
Staff will outline recent efforts to secure state funding to address the fiscal cliff as well  
as provide a snapshot of how various funding sources support the transit system today.  
Provide progress updates on efforts to make the system better for the rider and discuss  
opportunities to accelerate customer-facing improvements. Highlights on public  
sentiment from recent polling will also be shared.

Agenda Item 2: 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Bringing the Next 2-3 Years into Focus

The Commission will review key priorities/outcomes and be asked to confirm its top  
priorities of focus for the next 2-3 Years. The Commission will also discuss opportunities  
and challenges to success and provide staff direction to address challenges.

Agenda Item 4: Adjournment of Day 2 / Next Meeting:  
The next meeting of Commission, BATA, BAHFA, and BAIFA is scheduled to be held  
on Wednesday, May 24, 2023. Any changes to the schedule will be duly noticed to  
the public.  
Public Comment: The public is encouraged to comment on agenda items at Committee meetings  
by completing a request-to-speak card (available from staff) and passing it to the Committee secretary.  
Public comment may be limited by any of the procedures set forth in Section 3.09 of MTC's Procedures  
Manual (Resolution No. 1058, Revised) if, in the chair's judgment, it is necessary to maintain the orderly  
flow of business.  
Meeting Conduct: If this meeting is willfully interrupted or disrupted by one or more persons  
rendering orderly conduct of the meeting unfeasible, the Chair may order the removal of individuals who  
are willfully disrupting the meeting. Such individuals may be arrested. If order cannot be restored by  
such removal, the members of the Committee may direct that the meeting room be cleared (except for  
representatives of the press or other news media not participating in the disturbance), and the session  
may continue.  
Record of Meeting: Committee meetings are recorded. Copies of recordings are available at a  
nominal charge, or recordings may be listened to at MTC offices by appointment. Audiocasts are  
maintained on MTC's Web site (mtc.ca.gov) for public review for at least one year.
