The day is here! Thousands of Bay Area residents hit the streets on two wheels en route to work. Over 200 Energizer Stations were located along local bike commute routes in all nine Bay Area counties to provide free beverages, snacks and good cheer to bicyclists. Many Energizer Stations will re-open for the evening commute. Click here to find an Energizer Station along your bike commute route.

There is still time to join the Team Bike Challenge competition. Visit the Team Bike Challengewebsite to register your team. Bicycle teams of two to five riders compete by traveling via bike throughout the month of May. Each cycle commute will earn points for the team. Teams with the most points in each county will win prizes. Employers of all sizes are encouraged to promote the Team Bike Challenge. Bike to Work Day 2013 is sponsored by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission, 511.org and Kaiser Permanente, along with a number of private and public sector partners.
