Marin Sonoma Narrows

Marin and Sonoma County residents will have to wait a few more days for a new, wider, higher, southbound alignment at the chronically troubled Marin Sonoma Narrows. Expected rain will delay striping of the new approach and bridge. After it is opened, construction will switch to the middle zone and a new northbound alignment will be ready by late this year or early next year. Mark Jones reports the improvement has been 20 years in the making.
