What are mobility managers?

Mobility managers are organizations (nonprofits or public agencies) that help people learn about their transportation options. Mobility managers connect eligible individuals with customized information to get where they need or want to go.

What type of transportation information is available?

Information is personalized, based on what a person needs or wants. Mobility managers provide details on all the available transportation options for each trip a person wants to take.

What services can I learn about from a mobility manager?

Mobility managers can provide details about trip planning assistance or fare subsidies, or refer you to a community shuttle, taxi program, paratransit services, a vanpool program, a ridehail service, or other programs like travel training that will teach you how to use a particular type of transportation.

Why is mobility management important?

Mobility managers make it easy for you learn about all of the available transportation options for which you qualify – all in one place! In the Bay Area, MTC is working to have mobility managers in each county.
