May is National Bike Month – Celebrate by “Biking to Wherever”
This year’s rains have given way to an outburst of flowers and sunshine in the Bay Area, and the best way to enjoy the spring weather is on a bike.
Bike to Wherever Days – also known as National Bike Month – kicks off today, May 1. The centerpiece of the month, the annual, MTC-sponsored Bike to Work Day (BTWD) celebration will be on Thursday, May 18. Look for energizer stations on popular bike routes to pick up snacks and swag, and feel the joy of sharing the road with hundreds of other cyclists!
Visit bayareabiketowork.com to find out about the events happening in your county all month long, and to see the BTWD energizer station maps near you.
