The Bay Area Metro Center is just blocks from the Salesforce Transit Center and the San Francisco Ferry Building. It is easily accessible by public transit (BART, Muni, Caltrain and ferry).
Please note that parking can be difficult. There are public and private parking garages in the area, and limited metered street parking.
It’s also where you can find The Hub, the one-stop storefront “shop” for all the programs and services of MTC, the Association of Bay Area Governments and the Bay Area Air Quality Management District.

Customer Service at The Hub
Note: The Hub is temporarily closed, due to the pandemic.
The Hub is a one-stop shop for all the programs and services of MTC, the Association of Bay Area Governments and the Bay Area Air Quality Management District.
The Hub is located on the ground floor of the Bay Area Metro Center at 375 Beale Street, and is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Staff at The Hub provide personalized travel information about transit routes and schedules, bicycle routes, transit passes and more, and can help you if you:
- Need a FasTrak® toll tag
- Need to load cash value or passes on your Clipper® transit fare card
- Want to pay cash for your Bay Wheels membership
- Need help finding your best Bay Area bus route
- Need an Air District permit
- Want a Bay Trail map
