Poor Road Conditions Costly for Drivers
Roads, bridges and transit systems that are deficient, congested or lack desirable safety features cost the average Bay Area motorist more than $2,000 each year due to higher vehicle operating costs, traffic crashes and congestion-related delays, according to a new report released by The Road Information Program (TRIP) today. Statewide, motorists are paying more than $40 billion a year due to outdated and deficient transportation infrastructure and services. Read more here:
