Day 1 of the Metropolitan Transportation Commission and Bay Area Toll Authority
Workshop is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. at the
Westin Hotel, 302 South Market Street, San Jose, CA 95113

Meeting attendees may opt to attend in person for public comment and observation. In-person
attendees must adhere to posted public health protocols while in the building. A recording of
the workshop will be made available at https://mtc.ca.gov/meetings-events.

Members of the public may submit comments by email at info@bayareametro.gov by 5:00 p.m.
the day before the scheduled meeting date. Please include the committee or board meeting
name in the subject line. Due to the current circumstances there may be limited opportunity to
address comments during the meeting.
All comments received will be submitted into the record.
The Chair may adjust the order and timing of all agenda items.

Staff will provide an update on the current transportation landscape with a focus on public transportation and funding for which MTC has a decision-making role.

With this backdrop, the Commission will have an opportunity to review and discuss SB 1031 (Wiener/Wahab) provisions that aim to achieve appropriate geographic and modal investment, meet important local and regional needs, and deliver on a world class transportation system.
