The San Francisco Bay Trail will come into focus for the next month as Save The Bay invites the public to be part of the seventh annual Bay Day.

Join the Bay Day festivities and connect, explore, and discover the San Francisco Bay Trail and other Bay Area locations from Sept. 2 to Oct. 1. The free month-long event is flexible and customizable with prizes and special offers. Participants can choose when, where, and how to experience and celebrate San Francisco Bay.

Complete the 30-mile Trail Challenge along the Bay Trail, or complete 10 Bay-related activities. Explore the Bay on your own – or with friends, family, or colleagues. An online system also allows participants to track their progress. Sign up here to participate.

The Bay Trail is a project of MTC and the Association of Bay Area Governments. Envisioned as a 500-mile “ring around the Bay,” today over 350 miles of trail are built along the perimeter of San Francisco Bay.
