As MTC prepares the next update to the Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan, staff members are seeking input from older adults, people with disabilities and people with low incomes in the Bay Area about the challenges they face in getting around the region. Residents who identify with these three categories are invited to share their thoughts between now and May 27, 2022, via a survey (links below).

The Coordinated Public Transit-Human Services Transportation Plan coordinates transit agencies and other transportation providers so that all Bay Area residents can get to where they need to go. The plan focuses specifically on the transportation needs of older adults, people with disabilities and people with low incomes.

MTC is especially interested in hearing about the transportation gaps faced by residents who identify as older adults, people with disabilities and people with low incomes. The public’s input will help prioritize funding and align services to better meet the needs of these communities.

The survey is open through May 20, 2022, and respondents can win one of three $100 gift cards.
