The fourth round of the One Bay Area Grant (OBAG 4) was adopted by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission in January 2026 and includes $820 million in federal funding for projects from 2027 through 2030.

OBAG 4 funds support implementation of Plan Bay Area 2050+, the region's long-range plan (scheduled for adoption in spring 2026). The OBAG 4 county program is a flexible source of funding for local priorities, managed by MTC in partnership with the nine Bay Area County Transportation Agencies (CTAs). The OBAG 4 regional program is a more focused set of investments that support specific MTC initiatives and services across the Bay Area.
