One Bay Area Grant 4 (OBAG 4)
The One Bay Area Grant (OBAG), now in its fourth cycle, is designed to collaboratively implement Plan Bay Area priorities for transportation, housing and the environment through local and regional investments that work together to improve connectivity, equity and sustainability.
The fourth round of the One Bay Area Grant (OBAG 4) was adopted by the Metropolitan Transportation Commission in January 2026 and includes $820 million in federal funding for projects from 2027 through 2030.
OBAG 4 funds support implementation of Plan Bay Area 2050+, the region's long-range plan (scheduled for adoption in spring 2026). The OBAG 4 county program is a flexible source of funding for local priorities, managed by MTC in partnership with the nine Bay Area County Transportation Agencies (CTAs). The OBAG 4 regional program is a more focused set of investments that support specific MTC initiatives and services across the Bay Area.
