City streets and county roads are the local foundations of the Bay Area's transportation system.

The Local Streets & Roads Working Group, which meets monthly, is a forum for public works directors and transportation directors to advocate for pavement maintenance and funding. It is an important link between MTC and Bay Area cities and counties.
