The Bay Area Toll Authority Oversight Committee’s responsibilities are to:
- Oversee the work of BATA, which administers revenue from the region’s seven state-owned toll bridges
- Manage the FasTrak® electronic toll collection program
This 10-member committee meets the second Wednesday of each month at 9:30 a.m.

The Bay Area's seven state-owned bridges include:
- Antioch Bridge
- Benicia-Martinez Bridge
- Carquinez Bridge
- Dumbarton Bridge
- Richmond-San Rafael Bridge
- San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge
- San Mateo-Hayward Bridge
The Golden Gate Bridge is owned and operated by the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway and Transportation District.
More than 70 percent of all drivers crossing the Bay Area’s bridges during weekday peak commute periods now pay their tolls with FasTrak.
