Local Transportation Electrification Action Planning Program
Local Transportation Electrification Action Planning Program will improve community access to zero-emission transportation options.
The Local Transportation Electrification (TE) Action Planning Program will provide assistance to support local planning efforts that improve broader community access to zero-emission transportation options.
Working through county partners, the Local TE Action Planning program will focus on planning assistance that aims to identify and prioritize relevant near-term strategies and actions. It will support planning activities such as:
- Developing local action plans
- Streamlining charger policies
- Establishing curbside charging plans
- Planning for transit station electrification
- Project site planning and design
- Community-based planning and engagement
The program will also better enable cities and counties to pursue competitive state and federal funding opportunities for public electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
